Family Day Care Services

Last modified: July 15, 2004 - 6:28 PM

The Cabonne/Blayney Family Day Care Scheme provides affordable quality childcare services throughout the Cabonne and Blayney Local Government Areas.

Family Day Care is the care of small groups of children, 0-12 years, by licensed Caregivers in the Caregivers own home. Long Day CAre, Occasional Care, Overnight Care, before and after school care are all available. Regular playgroups are organised by staff in all areas where carers reside. Caregivers are chosen for their ability to provide a secure, loving and stimulating home environment. Each carers home is required to meet New South Wales Government safety standards. The Scheme is currently working toward National Accreditation through Family Day Quality Assurance administered by National Childcare Accreditation Council. All families using the Scheme are eligible for assistance with their child care fees (child care benefit). The amount of subsidy is dependent upon the family's inocme. The Family Day Care Service is funded by the Commonwealth Government through the Department of Family and Community Services. Family Day Care staff can be contacted on 2 6392 3219.
