Inala Retirement Units

Blayney Shire Council has a Retirement Unit Complex with 10 self care units located in the township of Millthorpe.
The purpose of the Inala Retirement Units is to provide accommodation for eligible persons, being aged or disabled, who are able to care for themselves. Each unit is wired for TV and telephone which may be installed at a cost to the resident. All units are one bedroom fixed with carpets, wire screens on the doors and windows, equipped with electric stove, refrigerator, wall heaters, wash basin, toilet, shower recess, laundry tub and clothes dryer, hot water heater, built-in wardrobes and linen cupboard, an alarm incorporating a buzzer and a red light for use in emergencies. Clothes lines are provided in the Common drying area. The units are otherwise unfurnished. A non-refundable ingoing contribution is payable prior to entry and weekly fees are payable.
