When is the Bush Fire Danger Period?
The Bushfire Danger Period within the Canobolas Zone (Blayney, Cabonne, Cowra and Orange) will commence 1 November 2007 through to 30 April 2008, unless extended or revoked dependent upon seasonal conditions. Restrictions on the lighting of fires are in force during the Bushfire Danger Period and Fire permits are required for open burning.Contact the Canobolas Zone Office 6363 8888, your local Rural Fire Brigade or NSW Fire Brigade about getting a Fire Permit.
