Where can I pay my Council rates?
Rate payments may be made by: MAIL Detach payment slip from rate notice and mail to Blayney Shire Council, PO Box 62, Blayney NSW 2799. Please make cheques payable to Blayney Shire Council. IN PERSON Present rate notice intact at any Australian Post Office. Payments may also be made at Council Office 91 Adelaide Street, Blayney. Payments may be made by cash, cheque or EFTPOS INTERNET Pay over the internet from your credit card or pre registered bank account at http://www.deft.com.au Registration is required for payments from cheque or savings accounts. For a regiatration form call 1800 672 162 or print online from http://www.deft.com.au. You do not need to re-register for the internet if you are already registered for phone payments. BPAY Contact your participating bank,credit union or building society to make payments directly from your cheque or savings account. You will be required to enter the Biller Code and BPAY referenced number as detailed on the front of your rate notice. TELEPHONE Registration is required for payment from cheque or savings accounts. To request a registration form, or for further information , please call 1800 672 162. To make a pr-program payments call 1300 301 090. The phone payment is a 24 hour service. CREDIT CARD Please call 1300 301 090 to make your payments using your credit card. Bankcard,Mastercard and Visa cards may be used. WEEKLY PAYMENT CARD If you wish to make smaller regular payments towards your rates DEFT payment system can offer a weekly payment card. Please contact Council's Rates Officer for further information.
