Village Enhancement Plans to Go on Display

The Independent Review Committee in the Twenty Essential Steps Document, has proposed a number of mergers of councils and it has proposed a county council model to replace ROC's to provide support to the member councils.

Blayney Shire Councillors to Continue to Workshop Long Term Financial Plan

Blayney Shire Council at its meeting on Monday 13th May endorsed the approval of its Delivery Plans and the Long Term Financial plans. These plans set out the works that council staff will undertake on behalf of the community over the next four years and describes the required funding needed to meet the plan objectives.

Winter Fire Safety Campaign

Minister for Police and Emergency Services, Michael Gallacher today urged householders not to be complacent after it was revealed that while the vast majority of NSW residents considered their homes and family fire safe, most had not practiced how to escape should a blaze start.
