Blayney Business CardLast modified: September 15, 2009 - 3:34 PM
We all know to shop locally, but now with the introduction of the Blayney Business Card residents have another reason to buy in Blayney. Launched last Tuesday, Blayney Shire Council is pleased to welcome the card to Blayney as a similar promotion has also been launched in Bathurst and Orange with much success. Cr Bruce Kingham believes the card is all about trying to stimulate businesses in the Shire. ‘We should all try to shop locally as much as we can and support our own people to provide jobs and help our local economy’. The card is available through the Blayney Chronicle by simply cutting out the card of the paper, and taking it along to local businesses when $20 or more is spent at any registered location. When the card is full of stamps from businesses, write your details on the back and drop it into an entry bin for your chance to win a $1,000 cash prize. The promotion runs through until November and the prize will be drawn on the 5th of December at the IGA supermarket in Blayney at 10am. Download document Contact details |
