Blayney Environmental Plan

Blayney Local Environmental Plan 1998 (also referred to as BLEP 1998) is the statutory planning instrument that establishes what forms of development and land use are permissible and/or prohibited on all land within the Blayney Shire Council Local Government Area.BLEP 1998 is made up of the written instrument, and a series of maps which can be viewed at Council's offices. Persons seeking confirmation of the application of the provisions of the BLEP 1998 to a particular area of land in the Shire should apply to Council for a planning certificate under the provisions of Section 149 of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act.BLEP 1998 was gazetted on 24 April 1998 and is subject to amendment. The current version includes Amendments up to and including 3 May 2005.
